When he realizes he's crushing on her, he's an idiot and avoids her like the plague. Except missing her is more of a distraction than she ever was so clearly the best thing to do is ask her out. Eventually, they move temporarily to Sydney and this is part of what leads to them breaking up. And Yancy (who is also miraculously alive) paying a visit to his bbsister's ex-boyfriend. After much sniping and Chuck being in an angry haze for weeks, they make up. And then they eventually become pilots together because Jaz is a badass and they really needed to pilot a Jaeger named Whiskey Brawler it's just too perfect. And there's eventually a babby they name Angela because Chuck as a dad is the most hilarious thing I've ever heard of and this summary just went down the tubes.
